Lake Monticello Golf Course
This seemingly semi-private—but fully public—course is tucked away within a gated neighborhood. It’s accessible by booking your tee time tell the guard house you have a tee time. Although the course is woven throughout the neighborhood, the playing areas rarely feel overly tight, and most shots still feel comfortably framed.
The course was quite busy on the day of the review (early May), hosting two large groups simultaneously: a weekly women’s group of approximately 30 players and a men’s group of around 50, both utilizing shotgun starts. Despite the volume, the course flowed reasonably well throughout the round.
